The Community Arts Center, owned and operated by Pennsylvania College of Technology, is the recipient of $7,500 from C&N through the Pennsylvania Education Improvement Tax Credit program. The contribution will be used to support the center’s approved Educational Improvement Tax Credit programs.

Officials from Journey Bank, the City of Williamsport and Pennsylvania College of Technology gathered on Friday to celebrate the renaming of the Journey Bank Community Arts Center and the installation of its new state-of-the-art digital marquee.

UPMC is continuing its longtime backing of arts and entertainment in the region. For the eighth consecutive year, the medical system is the Performance Series Sponsor for the Journey Bank Community Arts Center in downtown Williamsport.

Beginning July 1, the Community Arts Center – owned and operated by Pennsylvania College of Technology – will be known as Journey Bank Community Arts Center.

The Community Arts Center is the recipient of a generous $3,000 donation from Truist, through the Pennsylvania Education Improvement Tax Credit program. The funding will support the CAC’s approved educational programs, which include the Student Summer Stock, Educational Series and The Nutcracker production.

Downtown Williamsport and the Pennsylvania College of Technology campus were teeming with joyful graduates and guests, as the college held its three Spring 2025 commencement ceremonies May 16-17 at the Community Arts Center. Nearly 750 students marched in the ceremonies, with approximately 885 having petitioned to graduate. Pennsylvania College of Technology will hold three commencement ceremonies May 16-17 for the 885 students who have petitioned to graduate following the Spring 2025 semester. Nearly 750 students will march at the ceremonies, all of which are ticketed events to be held at the Community Arts Center. All of the ceremonies will be livestreamed.

The EQT Foundation has awarded $40,000 in grant funding to support two Pennsylvania College of Technology educational programs benefitting students in grades K-12. STEMFest, a hands-on engagement day celebrating engineering and technical careers, and the Community Arts Center’s Educational Series, providing annual arts programming and classroom resources, will each receive $20,000, thanks to the generous award.

The Community Arts Center has received a $3,000 donation from Jersey Shore State Bank, as part of the Educational Improvement Tax Credit program. The funds will be used to support the approved programming at the CAC.
